HOW CANCER LED TO SANDRA’S TRANSFORMATION
Sandra struggled to find her life purpose and use her gifts. In fact, for most of her life, she didn’t know that what she could see, hear, and intuit about others was unusual. She could see their soul’s longing – and also feel their pain. For a long time, she attempted to turn the gift off.
Faced with the possibility of cancer, her intuitive gifts were magnified. With three aunts diagnosed or dead around the same young age and having a mom who also had breast cancer, she was pretty terrified. (She thought this was the beginning of the end.) What was worse was that she knew she hadn’t yet found or fulfilled her life’s purpose, and she didn’t want to leave her fantastic husband, her soul mate…after all, they’d only recently met and gotten married.
Her crisis, of both body and spirit, is a classic story of “initiation”. In the middle of her panic and back against the wall, Sandra began to trust her intuition. She listened to the advice given to her in her dreams. Amazing teachers suddenly appeared, and she got the message - loud and clear - that her ability to see, hear and intuit information about others was a healing gift and that she was supposed to share this gift with others…that THIS was her Life Purpose…to help others release everything that is getting in the way of their living their life purpose.
She was diagnosed with cancer when she was 38 and made a successful recovery using both alternative and allopathic medicine, as well as her gifts. Through this experience with cancer and with the help of the wonderful teachers and guides that appeared, she became adept at using her abilities to help others, at translating “soul speak” and the messages all around us, and at showing others how to do the same.
